   Frontier Health’s Crisis Response Team provides mental health crisis services including assessment and referral for individuals and families who are experiencing acute emotional and/or substance abuse problems.

     Call 1-877-928-9062
 

   If the individual experiencing the crisis has attempted to harm themselves or others, call 911 immediately.

Crisis services are provided in —

Eight counties of Northeast Tennessee:

       • Carter • Greene • Hancock • Hawkins

    • Johnson • Sullivan • Unicoi • Washington

The City of Bristol Tenn/Va.

Southwest Virginia:

              • Lee • Scott • Wise counties

                     • The City of Norton
Services include:
• Crisis Intervention
• Referral to the Crisis Stabilization Unit
• Critical Incident Stress Debriefing
• Emergency Assessment
• Referral to mental health and community
   agencies
• Outreach
• Community education

Through Crisis Response, the Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 15-bed Short Stay Facility that provides Initial Screening, Assessment, Triage, Short-Term, Crisis-Focused Intervention and Medical Evaluation.

Crisis Stabilization Unit

  The 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit provides short-term stabilization services for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues.

   The CSU serves residents of 10 counties: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hancock, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington. Frontier Health is operating the first CSU in Northeast
