Health’s Crisis Response Team provides mental health crisis
services including assessment and referral for individuals and families
who are experiencing acute emotional and/or
substance abuse problems.

Through Crisis Response,
the Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 15-bed Short
Stay Facility that provides Initial Screening, Assessment, Triage,
Short-Term, Crisis-Focused Intervention and Medical Evaluation.

The 24/7 Crisis Stabilization
Unit provides short-term stabilization services for individuals
with mental health and substance abuse issues.
The CSU serves
residents of 10 counties: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hancock, Hamblen,
Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington. Frontier Health
is operating the first CSU in Northeast
