Frontier Health is the region's largest and premiere provider of behavioral health, mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and vocational rehabilitation services. We are a private, not-for-profit organization with more than 85 programs in two states. Frontier Health has been serving the Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia region since 1957.

Our diverse array of services includes treatment for family violence, mental illness, mental retardation, dual diagnosis and substance abuse for children, adolescents, adults, aging adults and families.

During Fiscal 2010, Frontier Health provided services to more than 68,000 individuals in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

Frontier Health continuously develops service offerings; new programs are implemented; others are relocated or expanded to provide greater access to care.

While offering a complete continuum of care is our defining element for residents of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, Frontier Health continues to achieve our mission to provide quality services that encourage people to reach their full potential.
